‧ SYNOPSIS ‧
"Desire" is a sense of belonging that everyone is looking for after birth. We come to this world, just like we get into a convenience store, looking for to meet our own goods, but some left empty-handed in the end. This night, a woman who wants giving herself a different birthday, an office worker who's searching for inspirations for his writing, a man who's got two families and wants taking care both well, they meet together all by a beautiful coincidence, and consoled each other.
‧ STATEMENT ‧
In this film, I defined the title "Jam" as the people who are in states of chaos but feeling the sweetness from each other at the same time. I think that all the behavior of human being are to satisfy their desires. Desire is a lost sense of security from the moment of birth. People seek for dreams during their lifetime full of chaos, and the foundation of this sweet satisfaction is the most primeval, most pure and steady condition.

「慾望」就是打從每個人離開娘胎的那一刻，一直在尋找的歸屬感。人們來到這個世界上，就像走進一間便利商店，為的只是尋找滿足自己的東西，但也有人最後是兩手空空地離開。這個夜晚，一個想過不一樣生日的女子；一個為了找寫小說的靈感的上班族；一個想顧全兩個家庭的男人，他們的不期而遇，互相給予了彼此慰藉。

英文片名「Jam」的兩個意譯合成是：混亂又甜蜜蜜的人們。人類的所有行為都是為了滿足慾望，慾望即是一種自出生的剎那就失去的安全感。人們在一生的混沌當中追尋夢想，而這份甜蜜滿足感的基底其實就是一個最原始、最純粹的穩態。
